Swing into Summer 2010 a Huge Success!!
The Animal Emergency Center & Specialty Services was proud to host a group of approximately 150 veterinary health care personnel (veterinarians, veterinary technicians, hospital administrators, and receptionists)  at the  Swing into Summer 2010 seminar co-hosted with the Milwaukee Veterinary Medical Association.  Thank you to our sponsors from the veterinary product and services community!!  Without your support, this great opportunity for education and community within our profession would not be possible.  Comments included: "It was even better than last year, and I really thought last year was great!"  There was a unanimous request for another seminar next year, so watch for information about Swing into Summer 2011...

Congratulations to Dr. Andrew Linklater !
Board Certified Specialist in Emergency and Critical Care

Drew_boards_cake.jpgDr. Andrew Linklater, Clinical Instructor at AEC&SS, has passed his certification examination and is now a diplomat of the American College of Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care.  This credential certifies that his knowledge and skills are at the level mandated by the profession of an expert in emergency and critical care.  No veterinarian can refer to themselves as a "specialist" or "expert" without completing advanced post-graduate training and passing board certification examinations in that specialty.   The Animal Emergency Center & Specialty Services can now boast that we are the only facility in Wisconsin with 3 board certified specialists in emergency and critical care, providing your pets with the "expert" level of care they deserve!   Never settle for less for your pet!
